Standard and Specialty Materials

Rubber

A universal solution for both industrial and domestic applications. Thanks to its high elasticity, good sealing capability, and affordability, it is suitable for a wide range of media, from water and air to oils.

Rubbers we commonly manufacture from:

  • EPDM (Ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber): Outstanding resistance to weathering, ozone, UV radiation, and hot water. Ideal for outdoor seals.
  • NBR (Nitrile butadiene rubber): Resistant to oils, greases, and petroleum products. Primarily designed for industrial seals.
  • SBR (Styrene-butadiene rubber): Versatile, with good mechanical resistance, elasticity, and abrasion resistance. Used, for example, for flooring.
  • VMQ (Silicone rubber): Extreme temperature resistance (from -60 °C to +200 °C or more), suitable for the food and healthcare industries.
  • FKM/FPM (Viton): High chemical resistance, withstands aggressive substances and high temperatures.
  • Cellular rubber: Soft, foamy structure, ideal for joint sealing, vibration damping, and acoustic insulation.

Engineering plastics

Suitable for more demanding industrial applications where rubber may not be sufficient. For applications where higher chemical resistance, temperature resistance, and low friction are required, or for components exposed to higher pressures.

Engineering plastics we commonly manufacture from:

  • PVC(Polyvinyl chloride):Lightweight, resistant to chemicals, cost-effective.
  • ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene): High strength, impact-resistant, good machinability.
  • PE (Polyethylene): Moisture-resistant, low coefficient of friction, high impact resistance.
  • POM (Polyoxymethylene / Polyacetal): High mechanical strength, abrasion-resistant, low friction.
  • PTFE (Teflon): High thermal resistance, low friction, high chemical resistance.
  • PA(Polyamide / Nylon): High strength, abrasion-resistant, chemical resistance.

Non-asbestos gasket sheets

A proven choice for flat gaskets. They allow for precise processing and offer a good compromise between price, durability, and availability. Thanks to their high thermo-mechanical resistance and chemical stability, they can reliably seal even in demanding operating conditions.

Non-asbestos materials we commonly manufacture from:

  • Temac: Czech quality proven in industrial applications.
  • Reinz: High flexibility, for better sealing even on uneven or deformed surfaces.
  • Klinger: High resistance, for demanding applications in the chemical and power industries.
  • Flexitallic: Specific applications for high temperatures and pressures.

Metals

They are a reliable choice for flat gaskets in demanding conditions. Thanks to their high strength, resistance to pressure, and high temperatures, they can ensure tightness even in extreme operations. Furthermore, their good conformability and mechanical stability allow for precise placement in the sealing joint, ensuring long-term reliability of the sealed connection.

Metals we commonly manufacture from:

  • Copper: Excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, good conformability (easily compresses into the sealing surface), resistant to certain chemicals. Applications: sealing of high-temperature flanges and heat exchangers, seals in steam and hot water systems, washers and sealing rings (e.g., copper washers under bolts).
  • Aluminum: Lightweight, good corrosion resistance in mildly aggressive environments. Applications: lightweight seals, e.g., in the automotive industry, seals for low-pressure and low-temperature applications.
  • Brass: Good machinability and corrosion resistance, medium strength, resistant to water and steam. Applications: sealing of fittings, valves, and components; seals where a combination of corrosion resistance and ease of manufacture is required.

Electrical Insulating Sheets

A proven solution for structural and insulation components in industrial equipment. They can reliably insulate while bearing mechanical loads. Their resistance to temperatures and common chemicals allows for a wide range of applications, from busbar supports and switchboards to the insulation of moving and stressed parts of electrical machines.

Electrical insulation materials we commonly manufacture from:

  • Glass epoxy sheets (Sklotextit / FR4): Resin-bonded glass fabric, very high mechanical strength and stiffness, excellent electrical insulation properties, low water absorption, and good dimensional stability. Good chemical resistance, temperature resistance approx. 130–250 °C; the FR4 variant is self-extinguishing.
  • Phenolic cotton sheets (Textit / Carter): Resin-bonded cotton fabric, good mechanical strength and toughness, excellent machinability (turning, milling, drilling), good electrical insulation properties for low and medium voltage, temperature resistance approx. 100–120 °C, higher water absorption than glass laminates (which affects dimensional stability).
  • Phenolic paper sheets (Kartit): Cellulose paper base, good mechanical strength and toughness, excellent machinability (turning, milling, drilling), good electrical insulation properties for low and medium voltage, temperature resistance approx. 100–120 °C, higher water absorption than glass laminates (which affects dimensional stability).

Composite and Multi-Layer Materials

They represent material combinations where 1+1 = 3. Thanks to the reinforcement of the base material, they acquire multiply better properties. They are a synonym for the reliability of long-term tightness even in demanding operating conditions. Their synergistic composition ensures universal use and significantly extends the lifespan of the seal.

Composite and multi-layer materials we commonly manufacture from:

  • NBR + aramid fibers: Good resistance to oils and fuels (NBR), increased strength and pressure resistance thanks to aramid fibers, good dimensional stability, operating temperature approx. -30 to +120 °C. Core applications: flat flange gaskets, seals for oils, hydraulics, fuels, engineering and automotive applications.
  • EPDM + synthetic fibers: Very good resistance to water, steam, and weathering, excellent resistance to UV and ozone, good elasticity, temperature resistance approx. -40 to +150 °C, unsuitable for oils and petroleum products. Core applications: water and steam systems, chemically less aggressive environments.
  • Neoprene (CR) + textile reinforcement: Good mechanical strength, good resistance to weathering and aging, medium resistance to oils, temperature resistance approx. -30 to +110 °C, higher dimensional stability thanks to textile reinforcement. Core applications: diaphragms, rubber-textile seals, cover and protective elements, less demanding industrial seals.
  • Graphited rubber + fibers: Improved thermal resistance compared to standard rubber, better chemical resistance, reduced friction due to graphite, good pressure resistance (thanks to fibers), suitable for higher temperatures (typically up to approx. 200 °C depending on the composition). Core applications: flange gaskets, steam and hot water systems, chemical and power industries.
